Poland. On Saturday, the 10th of April 2010 President of Poland Lech Kaczynski, First Lady, former President of Poland in exile Ryszard Kaczorowski and many other officials and parliamentarians (including chiefs of all types of Polish forces) died in a plane crash in Smolensk, Russia. It was an official delegation to commemorate the Polish officers murdered by Stalin in a forest near Katyn in 1940. Next day after the tragedy a week of National Mourning announced. A week later President Kaczynski and his wife were buried in Cracow at Wawel Cathedral - the burial place of Polish kings.
